Be Wise & Immunise
Te Puke Medical Centre staff are joining in the campaign to raise awareness for immunisations in the Western Bay of Plenty, by wearing printed T-shirts every Tuesday with - Be Wise & Immunise & 0800 Immunise
Children and young people are being urged to get vaccinated against measles, especially with the current measles outbreak which includes several cases in the Bay of Plenty.
Two doses of measles, mumps, rubella vaccine are necessary for protection. The first dose may be given as soon as possible after a child turns one.
